Last updated: October 5, 2026

Equiknox Consulting LLC ("Equiknox", "we", "us") provides supply chain consulting and on demand inventory analysis. This policy explains what information we collect through www.equiknoxllc.com, the Members area, and our reports, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email michaelknox@equiknoxllc.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, company name, and message when you use our contact form, sign up for our newsletter, book a consultation, join the Equiknox Insights Membership, or order a report. Billing details you enter at checkout go to our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

Files you upload. Inventory and parts data such as part numbers, quantities on hand, costs, usage, lead times, and open orders, plus the order number and currency you provide with the file. Our Terms of Membership ask you to upload only parts and inventory data, with no personal information about employees, customers, or other individuals.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and its service providers collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring pages, using cookies and similar tools, to run the site, keep it secure, block spam, and measure basic site traffic.

2. How we use information

  1. To deliver the reports and membership you purchase, including member content such as the Weekly Member Brief.

  2. To process payments and send order, account, and renewal emails.

  3. To answer questions and schedule consultations.

  4. To send our newsletter if you sign up. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.

  5. To improve our tools, using only aggregated information that cannot identify you or your company.

  6. To prevent fraud, spam, and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

3. How we handle your uploaded data

We use your files and results only to provide the services you purchased. We keep them confidential, we never sell them, and we do not publish results that identify you or your company without your written permission. You may ask us at any time to delete your files and results, except for records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

4. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for the service they provide:

  1. Squarespace, which hosts our website and Members area and handles member accounts, checkout and payment processing, customer emails, scheduling, and site analytics.

  2. Tally, which provides the forms you use to upload files for report orders. Tally is based in the European Union, so uploaded files may be stored outside the United States.

  3. Microsoft, which provides our business email.

  4. Google, which provides reCAPTCHA spam protection on our forms and hosts some member white papers on Google Drive.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising on other companies' sites.

5. Cookies

Squarespace sets cookies that the site needs to work (such as login, cart, and security) and cookies that measure site traffic. Google reCAPTCHA uses cookies to tell people from bots. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may then stop working.

6. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above: while your membership is active, while we deliver and support your reports (including the free rerun window in our Terms of Membership), and as required for legal, tax, and accounting records. After that we delete it or keep it only in a form that cannot identify you.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and limited access to customer files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

8. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in each email. You can update your account details in your account settings. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing michaelknox@equiknoxllc.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor them as required.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date and email members about material changes before they take effect.
